Today, we continue with our WDW Photo Mixtape series with visits to Animal Kingdom, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Hollywood Studios.
Like last time, this post is basically just going to be a mishmash of photos from around the parks and resorts, not following any real narrative or specific order. These were taken on several different dates over the past few years. They are in no specific order and I will try to keep commentary to a minimum. Hope you enjoy!
We begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
The photo above is from my very first DSLR camera several years back.
Hopper was Disney’s most advanced audio animatronic ever at the time it was built!
I’ve said it before but it bears repeating. The gibbons located near Kali River Rapids are the undisputed MVPs of Animal Kingdom. I could watch these guys all day!
Hardcore leap of faith here!
Just swinging…
Let’s head over to our favorite Disney resort… Animal Kingdom Lodge:
I went into reasons for visiting AKL, even if you aren’t staying there, in this post here!
We are there quite frequently, as Sanaa and Jiko are among our favorite dining options. Boma is solid as well but we don’t do buffets all that often.
The main lobby at Jambo house is just breathtaking!
We stayed here during our honeymoon. Both of the photos below were sights we woke up to each morning while enjoying a coffee out on the balcony.
We finish up for today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
Great Movie Ride, oh how we miss you!
The Indiana Jones show remains entertaining to this day. It’s rumored to be getting a refresh in the near future but we shall see.
Also a reminder that Muppet Vision 3D is a national treasure!
While dining solo at Hollywood & Vine, Mickey hung out at my table for a good couple minutes. Very cool!
You’ve been warned!
That does it for today’s photo mixtape. As always, thanks for following along!
