We are back with another exciting weekly Disney park (guest starring Universal Orlando) news and rumor roundup! A new restaurant at Coronado Springs, a new e-ticket ride at Universal Orlando and lots of construction updates make up the bulk of this weeks news.
Three Bridges Bar & Grill has opened at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The quick casual restaurant is located within the new Villa De Lago building right smack in the middle of the resort’s lagoon. The restaurant is similar in design to Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge; featuring open air lounge type seating. WDWNT visited on opening day and gives us a thorough review of the drink and food menus here!
The upcoming Star Wars Hotel outside of Hollywood Studios is coming along nicely! Work has really sped up since construction went vertical back in April. The framing of the building is really starting to take shape! The rumored target year is 2021 for the fully immersing hotel’s opening.
Tom over at Disney Tourist Blog has convinced us that we need to drop $200 building a lightsaber in Galaxy’s Edge… unfortunately, just getting the opportunity may be difficult due to capacity issues.

The upcoming fastpass + changes at Hollywood Studios continue to be a hot topic among fans. Here is Josh’s take on it over at Easywdw. I was going to do a separate post about this but he nails how we feel pretty dead on here.
Construction continues to move along quickly at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as well. We think a spring 2020 opening is likely for the new World Showcase attraction!
WDWNT is putting together another fan event, this time to say goodbye to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. With guest panelists, all of which played huge roles in creating the show, this looks to be a can’t miss event for Illuminations fans.
In non Disney news, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (just rolls off the tongue right?) opens today at Islands of Adventure! Theme Park Insider gives us a detailed description of the entire ride through for those interested. Note: The post is basically one big spoiler!
