Today, we are going to do a little follow up to our last post, which took a look at the final day of the 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts. While walking around World Showcase that day, I took a bunch of photos not related to the festival which I figured I’d share with you today.
Much like the last post, I am just going to jump around a bit. There is no real rhyme or reason as to what is covered in this post. Its just a mashup of places I enjoy or items that caught my eye which roaming around.
We’ll start with some Prep for the Flower and Garden Festival. Several of topiary were already installed.
I’m undecided as to whether I like the topiary with or without the eyes better.
Work continues in the middle of the Lagoon to prepare for the upcoming Illuminations replacements.
I am guessing the majority of the structural work is for the eventual permanent character based replacement, rather then the temporary “Epcot Forever” which will debut immediately after Illuminations ends this fall.
Hidden Mickey (with a small head and really big ears)!
The Japan pavilion is one of our favorites to relax in.
Katsura Grill is a solid counter service option and the outdoor seating area is one of our favorite spots in World Showcase.
The whole pavilion is just looking gorgeous for the spring!
Speaking of looking gorgeous, don’t forget to explore the gardens of the UK pavilion. They are easy to walk past and not take notice but its another really great area to just chill.
Canada is a great example of why you should always take the time to explore the entire pavilion. If you just explore the front of the pavilion you would never come across some of the best places in World Showcase.
That being said, the gardens in the front of the pavilion are no slouches either.
That will do it for this little photo tour today. We’ll be back with a post of a bit more substance tomorrow. In the mean time, thanks for checking this out!
Bye for now!
